Soya oil

Hi there,
I've just started adding some soya oil to my horses feed as he's showing quite a lot of EPSM symptoms and I've been advised to try a high oil diet. he's been fine on veg oil but i've been gradually swopping it for soya oil and he's turned into a nutter!!! very flightly and spooky, he even bucked yesterday and he's been as good as gold for weeks! the only thing i've changed is his feed.... has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?!

If you read Beth Valantines work, she does say that one of the signs horses show, when they need a high oil diet, is that they do have a lot more energy once changed over.

Im sure he will settle down again after the adjustment x

Remember that when on a high oil diet, to feed extra vitamin e too.
