Spaniels

What is the collective noun for a group of spaniels? We had a walked up day here yesterday and there were about 6 spaniels whizzing about, they were hysterical. My son tells me it is 'an asylum of spaniels'.
Any better ideas?
There was one multiple field test winning cocker dog who, if all spaniels behaved like him, no one would ever have another breed.

I call my two the 'Hoodies'. I think 'a mayhem of spans' sums them up quite well too lol!

Anyone else have Spaniels that are delighted with the flood waters/think it should be like this all the time?!

A hooly of spaniels! I have one my friends have two and a bavarian mountain hound for good measure.
