Can anyone recommend some comfy ones for me please?

I ride in my Moloh ones during the summer & they're comfy. You can get virtually the same on ebay cheaper. Mine have a zip covered by studs & have a tassle on the top.

They look great with jeans & a tweed jacket too.

I tried the moloh ones on with the studs at burghley last year and found the studs a real nightmare to do up. Do they get easier as they wear?

They get easier, but sometimes it can be time consuming if I'm rushing to do the school run or something! I also had a pair with just the zip, but they had a buckle at the top to do up so either way they can be a bit fiddly, but no more so than putting on a pair of chaps.

Whats the real difference between the moloh ones and the valverdes - they look very similar in style and price? Only difference is i guess the moloh ones will be more difficult to get hold of now (wouldve bought at burghley but had size too small/big and no right size!) as i got the catalogue through the post today and they dont appear to be in there.

Have no idea if they are comfy or not but someone recommended this site to me when I was dreaming about some I'd seen on Not on the High Street. The same ones were at least half the price from here: Spanish Riding Boots. I'm still trying to decide which ones I really like best!

They are sooooooo comfy!!! I haven't worn them for riding though, didn't buy them for riding, bought them as my "smart" dog walking/gadding about boots!!

The lady at moloh told me they were just ordinary Spanish riding boots, only they have "moloh" stamped on them . They are just the same otherwise.

moloh are on ebay under another name selling off their old stock. Just search "Moloh". There are some bargains on there.

Walk through muddy fields without worrying about wrecking them as they are waterproof, then I just rinse them under the tap!!

but didn't get them from this company as it was many years ago when they'd just started being imported here and was through a small shop in Hay on Wye...cost me way more than they are now! They are very sturdy, cool in summer and seem to keep out the cold in winter even though just leather with no lining but in the winter I would say with the wet and cold the leather does get very hard so I've used some good cream on them to keep the leather as supple as possible though it's difficult. They've lasted me years though, soles are a bit worn but zips never gone and I wear them a lot! They've never rubbed.

I think they are a relatively new company. The Boots are beautiful and incredibly comfortable and have lasted very well. Would highly recommend them. They do an outdoor type of boot with a welly sole which are great for mucking out or walking the dogs but also smart enough to wear to the pub!

:-D The only time I've been to Hay, years ago, I went into that shop and saw those boots and lusted after them ... and then a woman came into the shop and started to sing, randomly. It was during the festival though so maybe not normal for Hay!!
