Long time no speak!

Number 1 first…

Fig has been going great guns :) He kicked off the year with his GF at the beach, he was incredibly well behaved in company. I was fully prepared for him to be a sideways cantering pillock and of course he proved me completely wrong lol!

The training is coming along nicely, he's feeling better than ever!

We’ve started doing more jumping and *gasp* even dipped our toe in with some Arena Eventing! He’s taken to it like a duck to water. His jumping is coming along great, my next goal is 1.30m... The grid work is helping tone up his tum, second thigh and get his hips working for his flatwork too.

The competition season started well for us with a solid outing at Addington High Profile (PSG and AM FSM). Yesterday we went out for a PSG and our second Inter 1 and now officially have super shiny Inter 1 points!

I.Finally.Did.It. I got the tempis! In both tests!!!! So pleased I was finally able to ride that line for him.

Every single time I put a limit on him, he goes up another gear <3

I now have a small, hairy and not so secret new pony! He is called Nova (Oldenburg by Rock Forever) and has recently shot up a few inches and gone a little weak/scrawny. He&#8217;s 3 in April but likely won&#8217;t be backed till June looking at him. He&#8217;s lovely, a proper sweetie and very quiet.

Otherwise, PS has been cracking on with Goofy who looks fantastic. They are plotting their competition season and I can&#8217;t wait to see them out and about.

And of course, Brucey boo the Unicorn is a strong, fit and cantering sideways 22yo prat lol! Bit of a fluffy bear currently (not for long!) but loving life and very happy.

Wow talented horses and jockeys - Fig looks like he loves his jumping, we'll get you out eventing one day! You're already half-way there with the Arena Eventing :lol:
 
Lovely update, so much amazing stuff going on with you guys! Fantastic stuff. Looking forward to your updates as the comps get into full swing.
 
TB's really are so multi talented, he could go eventing now!! Lol.

Will you send the baby to the western rider for backing? I think Rock Forever is very popular with the German breeders, and they can't be wrong!! Look forward to seeing him progress.
 
you'll have to scrap the 'in the rough' bit soon with all these warmbloods hanging around the place :D, and maybe the dressage bit if yours and Fig's antics are heading upwards! :D

I love the newbies face :)
 
Nova will be backed by my friend who runs the polo yard he's currently camping out at :)

My jacket is Wellensteyn, it's very cosy!

I dunno, he was still a total bargain and very much not 'made'!

Rock Forever very popular, and talented! Jumping and dressage bundeschampionate :)

Nova boy be broken in a few months and then take it easy for a year, I'm in no rush!
 
That's not the same hor- jokes! Sorry couldn't resist.

I am excited that you are doing more jumping. And I hope Nova turns out to be the opposite of the rough Spanish translation of his name - No go!
 
Exciting for all! Looking forward to more jumpies! Where did you find Nova? Were you looking for another or was he just too cute to resist? He looks beaut!
