Here she is - my little foster pony.

She is supposed to be 9 months and a section A but i am not convinced on either of those.

Any suggestions on age, breed etc

If she isnt section A I reckon there is some section A in there somewhere, only the head makes me think she may not be but it is very hairy so could be hiding a dainty face!

She doesnt look leggy enough to me to be that young

Very cute!! :)
She doesn't look to me as others have said dainty enough to be an A unless there's a big winter coat hiding it!!
She also looks older than 9 months too but I wouldn't like to hazard a guess at what age as I'm rubbish at this sort of thing!

Oh in that case she could well be a pure A just covered in winter fluff :D, my mum has 2 A's (one she bred from) and she had a very plain head until she started to grow up properly and fill out and her head is now actually very pretty since she's grown into it a bit more! And at 9months she is going through the ugly duckling stage bless her.

That colour pattern with black knees is very section a and IMO would say she is heavily leaning towards sec a but....her head looks extraordinarily like my field-sharer's sec b...have no pictures to show just now but will try to take some...not uncommon in the welsh sections to find cross-breeding, whether deliberate or otherwise....;)

She looks a little older than 9 months to me based on the length of her mane and tail. She looks more like a yearling. Her body is almost Sec A but the head doesn't look Sec A, more like Dartmoor pony. Is there a chance she could be a Dartmoor pony or is she definitely Welsh? The other thing which makes me think more Dartmoor than Welsh is that she has a dorsal which may or may not mean she's a silver/grey dun (not all horses with dorsals are dun). Dun doesn't exist in Welsh ponies. She's cute whatever she is and I think she'll remain small.

it is possible she is a dartmoor - sec A was only suggested due to her size

She looks very much section A to me but i would say she was a little older maybe. We have a 2 year old registered section A and her head shape is similar especially around the muzzle
