I put both mares and foals in together this morning and this is what we got.
Although Manny is pounds more weight and a month older than Sparks, look at the legs as they suggest that Sparks will be quite a tall boy I think.

I somehow think Sparks will be the ringleader but it was great to see his face light up at the prospect of a play pal again.

So lovely to see! I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that so many of us horse owners actually spend very little time with foals which is quite sad really. Manny (I think) has wonderful and unusual markings, especially on his legs. Thanks for posting. :)

I am regularly torn between NEEDING to see pictures of Sparks and hoping you don't!
He just gets better and better!!

How kind, thank you. He's been a bit lost being on his own, we only fetched D & M back on Tuesday and it's great they seem to be chumming up. Hopefully I might, just might get some action shots soon but knowing me, I'll just enjoy watching them and forget all about a camera! :o

You're welcome. I'm very lucky that I have bred my own and can keep them at home too so I can give them plenty of human interaction whenever I have a moment.
It's a shame that he'll lose his Norah Batty's soon, they look just like socks now but will soon be plain black.

Lovely pics. What breeding are they?

THanks. Sparks is an Anglo Arab by H Tobago out of Witches Broom (Bea, TB by Fraam) He's a month younger than Manny who is by the ID, Maurice Minor and out of Dotty who is by Bazaars Texas, out of a Mandalus mare.
So very different but both nice types of their sort. The proof of the pudding though will be when they come out under saddle, looking forward to that. :)
