My horse has spavin and has done for a number of years (Diagnosed as a 5 yr old, he's now 17). I've managed to keep him sound and buteless for a number of years but he has recently become unsound. The physio suggests I use magnetic boots.

Any recommendations for good magnetic boots for back legs?

Either hock boots or leg boots/wraps?

Are some magnets better than others?

I would prefer something that I could leave on overnight if poss.

Many thanks!

My 9 yr old got diagnosed with bone spavin last October. I was told magnets have no scientific research suggesting they actually work. A lot of people recommended Back On Track stable wraps to put on over night which have ceramic properties in them. Helps blood circulation. He gets them on most nights and has been sound since December.

Research showed its the heat from wearing boots/wraps/bandages which help but not the actual magnets so I didn't waste my money on it.
