Both our older girls are booked in to be spayed this Thursday, Both had their last season in January which I was informed was good timing.
The younger one now appears to be having a phantom pregnancy, she is discharging milk and her boobs are quite swollen.
Will this mean she can't be spayed? I know they prefer not to do it when hormone levels are high due to the increased blood supply and worry of extra blood loss.
I have been so scared of this day and put it off for nearly 2 years but it has to be done...any helpful advice please?
BTW I have emailed the vet (her preferred meansd of contact but not expecting a reply until tomorrow)
