His exact words were 'its knackered' as suspected 2 options are replacement joint and fusion. As I have Rheumatoid replacement is a better option otherwise I will get arthritis in the other joints in my foot :-(
He said the original op could have been better. The Tibia is 1/2inc too short and not put together neatly. However the Tibia WAS in the correct position and length immediately before surgery
This mistake is common cause for my current problem. Not too mention he could see arthritis forming on the xrays going back to last April. If they had picked this up and re operated correcting things then I be unlikely to be in this position now. He did add tho that even when things are done perfect nature still causes arthritis.
I told him I want the summer with my horse, of course he thinks I am crazy but agreed to let me go back in 2 months and then go on the waiting list for the replacement. So it will probably be done in Sept (ish)
Although having spent all day at the yard and now sitting here in agony I am agreeing with him lol
