Spectacular fall

I decided to lunge Ralphus before work yesterday and as soon as his tootsies touched the sand I knew he was in a cheeky mood......

We had a little walk and trot around to free him up and then another horse came into the arena and he did his show off mode, tail up, head in the air and disunited

He settled after a while and started to work nicely, then from no where came a huge buck that included the twisted hip action in mid air (one the rider would never survive

). He was so intent in the buck that he forgot to put his front legs out

And landed on his knees and then did a complete roll

He stood up, shook off the sand and then went off again

Eventually I was able to stop him and check him over, no damage seen apart from a handfull of tail flowing in the wind

Then afer our little dram I turned him out as I'm sure he would have stiffend up and two minutes later, he was flat out gallop chasing a pony

Think spring has srung

Bloody hell he sounds like he got the wind up his tail haha.

Silly boy!! Hopefully he will have taught himself a wee lesson. Glad he is none the worse though xx

Bet your glad you weren't on

God soooo glad I was not on board.....I think he chased the pony because he'd embarrassed himself and his dignity was lost
