I had a phone call Monday night asking if i could go and pick a horse up that had been dropped of in somones back garden.
Apparantly the lady's son helped out at a local stable and she couldnt affored to pay him, so she gave him a horse, he is 13 years old and dosnt knwo the first thing about horses neither does his parents.
They have been feedign it on bags of hay bought from tesco's, at least they ahd been giving it somthing.
After making numerous phone calls i managed to get a friend to go and pick it up, it turns out that its a 5 month old Dartmore colt and apparantly there are four more on the estate that this wonam has dropped off for other children, they are living on a council estate in their gardens.
My friend has driven there today to try and pick them all up, god knows what state they are in, im absolutly speechless how irresponsible.
We have now got to raise money so we can look after these poor foalies untill a good home has been found for them.
I just hope and pray that she has manged to get them all.
Im so worried about them
