As a carrier for supplements? I'm not sure I would have much purpose for feeding it alone. What are you trying to achieve?

I think it will work, if you are unsure Baileys ( who make Spedibeet) are very helpful on phone. ?

I did this last year for my laminitis-prone Welsh cob. He's on restricted grazing in the warmer months and when we had a heatwave last year it scorched his grass, so I had to top him up. I was giving him hay, Honeychop straw, and Speedibeet. I would put a Stubbs scoop of the Speedibeet in the bucket and then fill it with water so it was really wet - he would drink the juice and then eat the mash so not only was it lo-cal food it also got extra water in him. He came out of the summer looking amazing last year.
