Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggggg!

Shut up.

People, cant remeber who, and can't be bothered to look, said it all on the previous FMC/JM7 etc post.

She does an excellent job IMHO, usually has good opinions, again IMHO, and speaks as she finds.

So there!

Agree with all of this but I'm off to get the popcorn and wait for the nasties to appear!

Sorry but shouldn't we keep quiet about fumanchu, because of the OTHERS!!!!!!. Sorry but would love to buy them and if anyone coming past Bedford with a Horsebox from Bath, let me know:D:D:D:D

Aw, i especially like Spencer. Hope they progress well and look forwards to seeing the 'after' photos. I'm sure they will get lots of good grass and be looking fab in no time.

The dartmoor type looks well, wouldn't want any more weight on him. The welsh is on the thin side but not overly bad as rescue cases go.

Yes if you can tell me how to get them here with out costing me a fortune. The Welsh Sec B is going to a real stunner, with the weight on him and the other little one I think will make a fabulous lead rein for someone.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Monsters that must really have been like pulling chicken teeths coming from you:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

It just does my head in hearing about the lady over and over but does not mean I don't want the ponies to do well. Iv taken a few myself and it is bloody hard work but worth it. I'm not a total b**ch YET

I have got two similar ponies in my paddock.....sent son off to a local horse sale to buy a couple who were up for conservation grazing, Exmoor types ideally. Heart sank when I saw what came off the trailer.....a 4 YO Moorland thing, who might be in foal and a 2YO colt that might be Connemara.......No way that these are going to graze inhospitable grasslands and thrive. they were desparate, despite being June, one of them was still hanging on to its winter coat - so suddenly I am doing my bit for horse welfare, having wormed them, and turned them out on decent grass! Not by choice, I have enough horses to look after already - but what can you do.......The local Exmoor charity has provided some very healthy ponies to do the conservation grazing, whilst I put on weight on the rejects....I am going to spend £100's on having the colt gelded, and might lose less than £50 on both purchases if I am lucky.........But I suppose I can sleep at night?? Argghh!!

Three years ago, I bought a pony from JM.

This was Oliver the day he arrived from JM's yard. JM kindly delivered him to us as well, which wasn't a short journey....

I think it is safe to say that Oliver, who had been in JM's care for quite some time, was in good condition?

He was waif and stray that had suffered at the hands of a previous owner to JM. He was mis-trustful and scared of humans when JM first took him on.

To think in 18 months (yes, she had owned him that long) she turned this pony's life around is commendable. Not many people would've given Oliver the benefit of the doubt for his behaviour. JM did and we ended up with a pony of a lifetime.

Sadly my daughter has all but outgrown him. Oliver will be a hard pony to replace.....sadly JM doesn't have anything big enough for a replacement, otherwise I'd have NO QUALMS about buying from her again.

I have been to JM's yard and seen her horses first hand. Not one of them looked neglected. They were all wonderful horses, with excellent temperaments. A credit to JM and her husband who do this for a HOBBY. There is no money in keeping waifs like Oliver for that length of time. We didn't pay the Earth for him. JM turned his life around for HIS sake.....not her own.

I have to agree with that kitsune ;) looks dreadful :D

I think so too, soooooo thin with no zest for life, look how uninterested in everything around him he is. ;) Gosh is that really what JM does for her waifs and strays ;)

She had him eighteen months????? Well there would have been no profit on that one would there! Looks like she took all the time she needed to, for the sake of the horse :)

He looks a lovely sort Patches

Now isn't that a kick in the teeth, for the witches. But I think they are already on as 2 snidy remarkes. RFF and the others leave her alone, she has many friends on here that know her and that don't and guess what 99% of posters are sticking up for her. So go get a life.:):):):):)

I have absolutely no complaints and am happy to count JM as a friend. I trust and value her opinion on all matters. It's true to say that she has probably forgotten more about horses than I could ever hope to know.

My "poor" pony has grown in confidence over the last three years but I know he could quite easily have been passed from pillar to post as others battled to deal with his obvious fear syndrome.

JM turned him around and we are honoured to own Oliver now.

Here's some recent pics.

Without JM's intervention, we wouldn't have enjoyed the last three years with a very special, and obviously talented young pony.

We'll miss him when he does move on.

Jm has a heart of gold and any horse or pony who has the luck to find her is assured of a second chance or a dignified end.
JM and many on line members helped me with Paolino. They donated their eoros and helped pay the vet for vacs, castration etc of the pony who was dying on his feet at an italian market.

a few years later....!

JM played a huge part in Paolinos life (along with the other good hearted HH onliners. There were the 'few' poisoned cows who did their best to bugger up the good work but they didnt get very far. Not much has changed, it seems!

Please excuse my spelling and grammer. I now speak/write english badly. After 20 years of speaking in Italian, my English has sufferd just a little!

I too, bought a cracking pony from JM, brilliant little 13.2. There are some people I instantly like and respect, and others I have no wish to share the same air with ever again. JM is amongst the first group, I would have no hesitation either buying another pony from her, or passing one on to her.

I am sick to death of reading the poison seeping out of a few people, what the heck have they got against JM?
That she buys and sells? So what?
That she calls a spade a spade? So what?

Fairynuff, great to see Paolino looking so well now.

So, what you are saying is that FMC/JM isn't nowhere near as black as some like to paint her on here?

Interesting though that 2 of the most vociferous posters against FMC/JM have declined from posting on this thread.

I was also one of the members who donated to Paolino's plight. Great to see him looking so well.

JM isn't a bad person at all. She does a fabulous job turning the lives around of the chosen few she is able to help (no one can help them all). End of.

So, what you are saying is that FMC/JM isn't nowhere near as black as some like to paint her on here?

:) I speak as I find, if I hadn't liked JM then I would have ignored these threads completely.

If I have a serious problem with someone I sort it out in private, preferably pistols at dawn, I wouldn't lower myself to public abuse or cowardly stealth attacks and have no time for those that do.

[nowhere near as black as some like to paint her on here?] That is what I am having trouble getting my head around, what exactly have people been saying she has done that is wrong? If she registered as a Charity and 'adopted' out ponies she'd be applauded for doing exactly as she does now.
