spencer wilton?

went to an eventers yard teh other day to try a horse and when arrived was greeted by said eventer who was with couple other people including rather smiley guy but being was not introduced. Am somewhat disapointed by this as smiler then got on one of the horseys and did some schooling and it dawned on me i was in the presence of greatness. It was Spencer Wilton! Now i know that there are a few people out there who might be jealous that i had a close encounter with the god but what bothers me is that i am so tunnel vision (thinking only of new horse) that i, listed dressage judge and all, didnt recognise the person! tragic isnt it!

Spencer used to run regular clear round show jumping at Chedworth a few years ago.... suppose he wasn't well known then

HAHA, I only met him once when he came up to give a lesson to am old boss. I had absolutely no idea who he was, and was amased that he had flown up in his riding gear, and hew as about ot fly back to carry on giving lessons the rest of the day....................Oh the life!

I have a lesson with Spencer on Wednesday, and am not ashamed to admit I am absolutely bricking it!!!

dont be afraid he seems to be teaching everyone these days so cant be all bad and certainly was easy on the eye! such a shame!!

I had a lesson with him about 3 yrs ago, and he had forgotten to do up his flies!

Needless to say it was hard to concentrate and I was too shy to tell him!
