Firstly need a new or 2nd hand jumping/forward cut gp saddle. Finally managed to sell mine but had to take a lot less than I originally wanted to but needs must as he's lost weight and it just doesn't feel quite right anymore and seems to be getting lower at the front.
Want something that will take my leg without looking like a pony saddle (I'm 5"10) More important is the fit on him as he has big shoulders so very forward cut jumpers just don't sit right. He takes an 17.5-18" M-W to wide depending on makes.
I have also decided to sell my jaguar xkc dressage saddle to put some money towards the new jumping saddle and then get a different dressage saddle.
So basically any ideas for really what I should be looking out for - the jumping saddle is my main priority as i have a back up old dressage saddle to keep me going if i manage to sell the jaguar.
got on to saddles direct as thought about pxing the jag in but £600 was a bit low I thought - maybe I'm wrong?
He's 17.2 7yo trekehner if that helps?
I hope to have around £1000 to spend for two saddles but could push it a bit if necessary
