Spider update

[Quarrybank]

I've just had a call from the vets & Spider has come round & is standing in the recovery room.

The op has gone as planned. I'm going in to visit a bit later & should know a bit more then.
I think he'll be in for a few days on antibiotics & then will be able to come home & will have to have a few weeks box rest, with walking in hand.
They think that once the stitches come out in 14days, if all is ok, he'll be able to go out & I'll be able to ride & see how he feels.
I don't think I've been very productive at work today though

I visited last night & although very groggy still, he seemed very chilled & was eating the v little & often hay they were putting in for him & trying to mug my pockets for polo's!

Thankfully he wasn't quite as 'red' as last time either

I've just spoken to the surgery this morning & he's had a good night & eating very well.... no suprise there

They're pleased with his progress & will update me a bit later once the vet has done his rounds.
Oh & no coughing so far, so everything crossed.
