I haven't posted about Spider for a few days as I didn't want to tempt fate
Spider is doing as well (if not better) than I hoped
He came home on Sunday with antibiotics & ventipulmin. He's to have 2 weeks box rest & the staples to be taken out on 10th April. He's allowed a short walk in hand each day & a bit of inhand grazing. After that if there are no complications or problems he can go out, I can ride him & then crack on & see what he's able to do.
Since he's been home, he's feeling very well
Our walks are a bit (make that very
) lively. He isn't coughing at all (touches wood
) there is no discharge from his nose & when he drinks it doesn't come back down his nose so his water is clean!
I don't think we'd realised how rotton he must have been feeling. The difference is amazing. He's eating well, drinking more & generally very bored to be in
He's very much back to his old cheeky self
So thanks to everyone for their good wishes & vibes. Hopefully this story will have a happy ending & we can go out & have lots of fun in the summer.
