The dear boy, with his usual "Yep - no problem" attitude, was pointed at a fence yesterday, for the first time in god knows how many years. He loved it - popped everything he was pointed at with a big smile on his face, and looked very disappointed when we suggested that at 20 years old, not having jumped for god knows how long, and not being terribly fit - that he ought to stop.

He really is a diamond - a very lucky find!

Absolutely - and over some bigger ones next! He just amazes me - he had been retired for two years when I got him, but he's making it pretty clear that he's not ready to slow down any time soon! He's just such an elegant horse - and so light and balanced. Love him!

Well, he was staking his claim to be allowed to do some jumping after his antics navigating his way round your fields freestyle a week or two ago!

He is so light on his feet and balanced, too. What a star! I'm an adoring S the S fan!

We've had a few words about the free styling, and the occasional refusal to be caught. He did say that eh couldn't be expected to be an angel all the time, so we've agreed to tolerate a bit of naughtiness, as long as he continues to be a star under saddle.

Alf bit him on the bottom earlier. I think he's feeling threatened...
