Just a question has anyone used the grow and win balancer on a non breeding animal?

I understand it's primarily a stud balancer however I've had a few opinions on it on non breeding animals, so curious as to what people think.

It's less concentrated (lower levels of micronutrients) than the other Spillers balancers, so you'd have to feed (and pay) more to get the same amount of goodies. It also contains iron, which most horses don't really need added to their diet (there's plenty in the forage already). I wouldn't see the point in choosing the gro 'n win version.

I fed Gro'n'Win to my youngster from the age of 8 months to 3.5 years. She always looked fantastic! I only changed her when she started to do a little more work and I moved to Spillers Lite until she was 5yrs and now Topspec Comprehensive when she is rising 6yrs.
