I use baileys no.4 topline cubes on my TB, he drops weight very quickly as can get very stressy, and this is the only thing i know works! (he is also on sugar beet and dodson and horrell just grass)
havent used spillers.
I can't comment on Baileys Topline as I have not used it but I use Spillers conditioning cubes and think it's great! I noticed a difference within 2 weeks of feeding it and didn't fizz him up either!
Brilliant, thankyou for your replies!
I have him on A&P Calm and Condition. He's doing okay on it but is plateuing (sp) a bit now, but that's probably as I'm feeding him hardly any as I feel it's just too much feed (you have to soak it) so want something smaller.
Baileys topline all the way. Iv used both but baileys always worked better. But been on topspec for the last few years and more than happy so wouldn't swap

I vote Bailey top line cubes.... My boy was on Topspec and tbh I was really dissapointed with the results! Since moving to Baileys topline he looks much better. I can't comment on the spillers as I have never used it..... maybe have a look on both websites and compare them nutritionally(sp)?
PJ gets a bit of bog standard mix and chaff and Dodson & Horrell Build and Glow...
Its about £20 a bag but they only need half to 3/4's of a cup.
It seems to have worked well with PJ (I was in a similar situation feeding conditioning nuts but got abit paranoid giving him such large feeds [I read somewhere there stomach is about the size of a rugby ball so shouldn't really have feeds much bigger than that] so swapped on to a more concentrate)
He also has oil when it gets particularly cold as a bit of extra 'meat on the bones'
