Well Toto is a bit of a fatty at the moment, as he's a very good do-er in the summer but not a very good do-er in the winter. At the moment he's not having any feed other than hay, grass and carrots but last winter he had Hi-Fi Lite with a vit & mineral supplement, a mahoosive net of haylage at night and grass during the day. However this year I thought of maybe giving him a bit of different feed to go with his chaff as a replacement of the vit/min supplement, such as Spillers Cool Concentrate, which on the website says that it contains all the vits/mins that he will need
He can be a bit lazy/steady in the summer, but in the winter he can be a bit daft and sharp when he's been clipped which will be in November. So we don't want anything that will make him fizzy or that is heating! We need something that will help to keep him in good weight and that will provide his nutrients. Normal pasture mix sends him loopy, does Spillers Cool Concentrate do what it claims? Or did it make your horse fizzy? Or can you recommend anything else we could feed?
