Spillers readigrass - such a difference - really recommend it!

Well, to cut a long story short, rock is allergic to EVERYTHING! (mollases, wheat, barley, maize, soya) so the last 3years since i've had him i've had such hassles feeding him.
Then at badminton i went into the winergy stand to buy his ventilate and got chatting to the winergy nutritionist.
Emailed her mine and rocks details and our vets details and she rang up the vets to get his blood results to see his allergies and recommended that i put him on spillers readigrass, with equivite original as a multi vit and keep him on the ventilate.

WELL - best thing i've EVER done. Rocks is like a completely different horse. SO happy, full of energy, full of buzz hes just spectacular. Hes neighing all the time, his coat is like velvet, eyes sparkling - he was even galloping about his field bucking yesterday which is unheard of!!! I schooled him today and it was such a transformation, i asked him for trot and his whole body elevated and he just felt so powerful! Was spectacular.

So thought i would share my success incase anyone else is in a similar situation with a horse that is lethargic and depressed - im so impressed - i now have a happy full of energy horse!

So firstly i recommend spillers readigrass!!! Hugely!

And secondly i recommend the winergy nutritionist - she was so helpful and was free!

I don't feed it to Marius, because he doesn't need the increased energy, but it smells soooo delicious I could eat it myself!
 
Mine loves it too, but I can't feed it because I'M allergic to it!!! lol! Get really bad hayfever symptoms!! So my boy can't have it! ha ha!
 
Feed it at the stables where I work sometimes and I think it smells gorge, well done on finding something that he is not allergic to - it must have been a nightmare for you!!!!

Just a quick word of warning. At about this time every year Spillers seem to run out of Readigrass. You just can not get it anywhere till the next cut. I had to stop feeding it as it meant I had to have a feed change at the most important time of the year re competing. Was speaking to Spillers rep couple of weeks ago & she admitted it was an annual problem. So, my advice would be. Buy a lot up front at the moment just so it doesnt lead to dissapointment in a couple of weeks time.
 
Can't remember how long it is out of stock for - sorry, not much help am I? Maybe you could PM Freshman to see if they can remember (or if Spillers rep said)? I slipped up last year because I thought YO had got plenty in but they hadn't so I ended up having to get Just Grass instead which was also well liked by my mare.
 
Its very low locally here ( i saw a large saddlery feed barn had some sunday and had a fair bit ).

Graze on is simliar if you cant get it so do stock up now.

I feed ready grass to my horse to bulk out her feeds mainly during the winter to keep weight on ( she is a full tb ).

I have her on box rest at the mo due to an injury and feed in place of the grass she is lacking.

She has never got fizzy on it- this is a horse who cant have cereal based feeds ie mixes and no mollasses. She thrives on ready grass and dengie original and spillers conditioning cubes.

Im additted to the smell- i even feed it to my ginea pigs they go mad for in too hehe.
 
They do run out around us. don't know who you get yours from, but Botley always run out in the summer.
 
I also feed it in winter as we normally have no grass. The ponies prefer it to their feed. It smells delicious....!!!
