do any of u use this? how well does it work? Buzz is currently on dodson and horrell 'country competion mix' but i want him to be a bit brighter, i think the spillers quick relise would be to much for him and turn him into a mental case.

I used to use it on my TB and loved it. It is what it says - slow release energy, meaning it doesn't tend to send them bonkers but rather gives them that controllable sparkle.

Don't discount the instant energy I feed this to my ex racer plus extra oats when he needs it and I don't get any over reaction fab feed in my opinion. The slow release seems to be better for the real nut jobs and the more endurance type activities eg hunting x country etc

It is fantastic stuff!!!! I feed it to my boy normaly just this time of year as we are out nearly every weekend, hunting, sj, dr... so I just like him to have enough oomph for it without going too stupid. Before I started feeding it he was a bit of an idiot in the school and would just speed around in canter and threaten to jump the fence out and now he pretty much just gets on with the work, more schooling has played a big part in this to of course but I think the feed has really helped to.
I did try the instant release mix once and it worked really well to as I thought he could do with some more energy (we weren't on the slow release at the time) was great stuff but my heart couldn't take it lol.....he jumped a whole 3' course like this

I've seen a real change in our horses mood, he's seems more chilled, but working, his mind focuses immediately, coupled with a good energy level, I'm sticking to this feed
