Spirit’s Horse Sanctury fire yesterday

Does anyone have an update on how the horses and staff are?
i Don’t live in the area, but it must have been so scary.
Locally, a cattery was also burnt- I believe the cats were all rescued, but some of the staff suffers burns.
was an utterly awful day with the many fires all over the country. I have seen so many folk have lost grazing to fires, too. Hopefully that will recover with rain, but the other losses won’t be as quick To do so.

i'm not a member of their group, but the last publicy shared post was that all were ok, everyone was safe and the wind had changed to stop the horses needing to be evacuated.

Its only 20 mins up road from me, so very scary!

Can imagine it was scary. The devastation in the area looks awful.

On BBC iPlayer it was the 6:30pm London news but maybe they are not available after a certain time. It was nothing about donations though, just an interview with someone who worked there saying all the animals were safe.

I’m about the same distance away, thankfully other side of the A2 but bloody scary ?
