Splints on hocks

Are they a thing? I’ve only encountered them on the forelegs, below the knee, but that is not an extensive survey.

I've not heard of hock splints. Hock spavins yes but not splints.

Nope, no splints on the hocks. We have a pony with a hind splint below the hock but they don't form on joints.

I've known splints below the hocks, on the outside splint bone. They didn't cause a problem .
