....rhetorical question actually.

Big Spotty Horses slow down small Sureshot's (also spotty) healing process!

All photos courtesy of Megaribbon this afternoon.

Both have brown spots LOL!! Spotty Horse is the one with the halter on and the big white blaze. Bossy boots he is!

They are quite lovely really - just big Spotty Horse is naughty.....he made the whole herd come in there after Meg took the pictures and they were all running around like nutters!

Had to let them in the corral as their heated drinker in their field has frozen!

I'm gutted!!! I always thought he had black spots! How did I miss that?

He's still handsome though. Never been a fan of Appaloosa's but there is just something about him. Much prefer his markings to what I can see of the other ones. Weird eh?

We have one living close by here. One thing's for sure.....she could never lose him in a field of bays! LOL

I was never an Appaloosa fan either....still not really, I like my sorrel horses...but they do seem to have really sensible heads on their shoulders....except when they have splints

Have you tried magnetic boots?! they increase the blood supply to the area..increasing oxygen and subsequently metabolic rate, so the inflammatory toxins are removed quicker and new tissue is laid down quicker! It works because of the charges on the magnets altering the charges of the cells membranes and means they become more permeable to allow the inflammatory proteins to escape!!!... I think?!

Also physio, things like ultrasound and lazer can help!

Bandage and ice!
