The joys of having hind shoes on continues. Today I took ALf to his favourite place in the world, and he had a lovely time making whirlpools with his nose, and splashing like a mad thing. He got absolutely soaked.

Then we got on with the serious business of hydrotherapy (aka walking up and down the river bed) - the bit of video at about 00:32 marks him very nearly dropping me, and my phone, into the water!
He then marched home at warp speed, making happy snorty noises, until about 1/4 mile from the yard, when he realised that we'd been out for nearly 2 hours, and he was VERY TIRED INDEED.
He had chiro this afternoon, so has scored himself a day off tomorrow.

Is Alf in all his leg armour as he splashes around...I was thinking of the cleaning and drying afterwards. I’m envious of your stream...we ve got raging torrents coursing through the burns to the river Forth...

It gets them all nice and clean when he splashes in them! Didn't have boots on today, as it was hot (and I couldn't find his knee boots)

Oh that looks lovely! Although the one time I suggested my pony do this in a little shady stream we have near us, he stood aghast on the bank as his little highland friend had a ball splashing about. Water in his mind is not scary and can be tolerated if necessary, but is not fun! Perhaps it’s a lifetime of being bathed as he is a mucky grey ?
