Split in front hooves

I all - my mare has one very fine crack down the front middle of both her front hooves (coronet to floor). They cause her absolutely no problems and the farrier has never mentioned them (she is barefoot). Would you be concerned?

I know you say your farrier has never mentioned them, but have you mentioned them to your farrier?

I'm forever giving my farrier the quiz about my horses feet. Every time he comes to do them I ask how they are all looking. Also any changes in their feet I mention them to him, even if he can see it for himself

Agree with Ponyfeet. You should ask your farrier about it.
