unfortunatly poor sponeck was put to sleep on monday
he was a beutiful horse and will be missed thoughts go out to owner michael x

I would just like to add that my daughter put the post up, my spelling is not that bad!!
I am quiet upset as Sponeck had the most lovely temperment & he was little used in this country. All his offspring have the most wonderful temperments just like their sire. Michael is devasted having only just bought him early last year, having been his rider for a number of years. Sponeck had suffered some sort of nerve damage which was not getting better & it was felt that it was unfair to keep him going.
He was by the dressage stallion Caprimond ex of Scala Milano who has another graded son standing in America.
His son Montanas Maserat has had a succesful career in dressage over in Denmark
