I would say re SJ (and tigers_eye) part of the attraction for a sponsor is the image - a hard working amateur who has had success but is also real and approachable.
Think about who you might appeal to. Is there a business that would be particularly attracted to the youth market?
Also, no offence, but can you get help from a grown up who can promote you a bit? Or a business that does something like business cards or team clothing? What about one of your current employers? Having one sponsor, even if it's not for much, will make you more attractive and help you show off what you have to offer.
