I've recently noticed my horse has white spots in both ears, didn't notice them at all during the summer, positive they weren't there. they are kind of like dry spots or something:confused:

Just wondering does anybody know what they are and how to get rid of them ?

Thanks in advance
Olivia

Aural plaques. Unless they are bothering the horse, they are best left alone.
I believe disturbing them can make them worse.

My lad had these couple of years ago,aural/ear plaques as others have said.

They are supposed to be impossible to get rid of but i got rid of my lads by rubbing pure aloe vera gel into them morning and night.Took a few weeks but eventually came away and left healthy pink skin underneath, and haven't come back since.

Won't hurt to leave them alone if you prefer though, don't generally cause any problems AFAIK,just unsightly.
