Hi
My new field is full of weeds and little white flowers. Anyone know anything about spraying them to kill them? What to use and how long I should keep my neddies off it for?
Any advice would be helpful
Many Thanks.

You need to consult an Ergronomist to determine which spray to use as they are weed specific. You will need a licenced spraying contractor to spray it for you (ensure that they have had their sprayer annually serviced and calibrated).

you also need to have someone out to do soil sampling to ascertain what your soil analysis is. Sometimes simply adding lime with alter the pH enough to stop certain weeds. We added lime and no buttercups now. You also need to know what to fertilise with and what type of grass/weeds you have in there and what you intend to do with the field

You also need to wait until spring, as spraying now willnot work. Weeds need to be sprayed during the early part of growth.
