At new yard my pony has been out with another gelding who is a pain in the rear end.
His new trick is to bite chunks out of my boys rugs. What sprays are there that I can spray on the rug to stop him doing this??

Don't know of any sprays off the top of my head, but try buying a cheap lightweight and putting it over your normal rugs. Mine were in with a rug tearer last year and it was cheaper to repair (myself) the cheap lightweights than to replace my nice turnouts over and over again!! Also helps keep the heavier rugs cleaner for longer and drier!!

Agree with Tennessee - I have tried cribox spray on rugs but did no good. Now I put a cheap lightweight over the top and let them rip that instead. There is some stuff called 'No-Bite' which is a cream that they put in mares tails to stop foals chewing them, that is quite good but very messy and not sure if it would work on rugs

I found that a strong mixture of chilli powder and marmite in water was a good deterrent for rug biters.
Sprayed it all over rug, and it worked pretty well.

naf no bite is excellent i use it in my stable on the wood. just becareful when you spray it that the wind doesn't blow it, it your face it taste disgusting.

Oh cool stuff, all of this lot will come in handy as I'm having to put my bay in a herd with my youngster and some naughty rug rippers! Think I will get some and use it as prevention before putting him in there!
