I have had my Sprenger stirrups for a few years due to a sore left ankle when I ride. They haven't really seemed to help that well. Has anyone else experienced this. And can you recommend me another style of stirrups that could help me.

Thanks

I really like mine I’ve had them for a good few years now. There was a point this summer though that I was getting a sore foot with them. Couldn’t work out why. Turns out I had it on back to front! Didn’t think there was such a thing but low and behold no pain anymore... worth a try?

It might be that the flexibiilty from the sprenger doesn't suit you. Interesting about getting them on back to front - thay are marked but absolutely possible. But assuing you have them on the rght way around perhaps look to something more fixed? Before you opted for sprenger did you check your stirrup bar is correctly positioned for you? Might a wider tread rather than a more flexible stirrup suit your particualr need?
