My mare is just not happy in her mouth at the moment - well even more unhappy than usual.

These snaffles are described as being good for 'hard pullers' - does anybody have any experiences to share?

Like Thistle says, they're soft bendy plastic. Thicker at the edges and thinner in the middle. One of mine has one - does everything in it. Wouldn't necessarily call him a hard puller, but he does like it..

What would you like to know about them?

I have one and it is quite thick at the corners but belive the new ones are now thinner. Id compare it with a Happymouth and I cant imagine how it would be good for a hard puller unless its a gag version???

They stop a horse being so resistant and so are therefore good for horses that tend to set, as they dont really have anything to set against, kind of give them nothing to pull against and they wont pull?! Does work on occasions, mine can be alot softer in his than others, but can also take the mick!! They are completely different to happy mouths. I use the Nathe ones which are very similar.
