Hi, has anyone used the Sprenger KK Ultra Type 2 range of loose ring snaffles, with the little metal 'wings' on the bars? I'm looking for something to help my mare avoid getting pinched lips (she is an ID with a fleshy mouth) and am trying to choose between this and a D ring KK Ultra. Can the metal wings slide into the mouth if the horse opens it's mouth and pulls sideways? Thanks for any input.
