Hi, can anyone tell me how these bits measure up, my mare is normally in a 5 1/2 inch and am looking to change to the loose ring, do they measure big, should i order a 5 1/4 or a 5 3/4??

Id say they were true to size but if you have an eggbutt bit that fits snug then Id go up a size as a loose ring can pinch if too small. I think the sprengers come in the metric sizing?? 150, 145 etc, so they fall short anyway, so a 145 is a smidge shorter that 5 3/4.

They are exact with measurements-all my 5.5 inches are exactly that and fit perfectly
