Sprenger novocontact bit

Curious to know if anyone has tried sprengers new bit yet (or even just the new metal) on what sort of horse and what you thought of it?

I bought one for my horse that is fussy/doesn't like taking the contact forward. Very pleased with the results

Thank you pigeon! I might hire one and give it a go. I currently have her in a neue schule but I wanted to try the different metal, then thought the novocontact design looks and sounds interesting!

Yes it's supposed to clarify the aids, which I think it does do. I've got the single jointed loose ring. I've always had my horse in plastic bits because metal ones make him back off more, but he likes this one!

Before the NS I was only able to ride mine in a Sprenger duo, so perhaps they are similar! I was going to get the double joint eggbutt though as she is going quite well in the NS and that is an eggbutt.
