I would like to buy some of these irons but they are so expensive. Does anyone else make something similar at a more reasonable price?

I have looked on ebay but they are still over £100. There was an odd one iron which was about £5 - I suppose I could buy it and hope that another odd one will come up some time soon LOL !

Most do copies of them I have a real set and a shires (I think) set.

I probably wouldn't spend the money again as for me there is not any difference. Others may notice it more.

The Flexi Iron design does relieve my constantly sprained and wonky ankles though without a doubt!

Thanks for the replies - I will look into those other makes.

I am having trouble with a painful left knee and left ankle, and after a days hunting daughter's knees are playing her up too.

Perhaps we can find some relief with these stirrups

I have dodgy knees so have sprengers - I did try a copy and it was fine for short work but jumping/decent hack and I was in pain again. Ended up buying a second pair for stressage work as well and highly recommend them.

They worked for me. I managed to get a secondhand pair from ebay and paid about £30 for them so worth keeping an eye out. I didnt want to fork out the huge price not knowing if they would work.

I do find my ankle can be a bit wobbly in them when schooling but my knees and hips dont hurt. So for me they are great for hacking/long rides but not so good for schooling.
