There is a post on here today called Springer Spaniel Stirrups - its all about them. I f you have a search on here and in Stable Yard you will find a load more posts about them and all the variations.

In short the people who have the Sprengers love them and think they are worth every penny - me included - those who have the cheaper lookilikies also think they are great. Have only used Sprengers so can't give you a good comaprison other than I am buying anbother pair asap as i can't be bothered to keep changing leathers from saddle to saddle.....

I have knee & ankle problems, and I can feel a huge difference between cheapies and Sprengers. I'd always go for the Sprengers.

If you don't have joint problems then you might not be able to tell the difference.

Have got springer spaniels and thorogood. TBH I can't tell the difference - both good. The thorogood have the option of cheesegrater treads though which I think are great for stability.
