Hi, I know bitting has been done many times but just wanted some opinions. We are reviewing pony's bits. Currently he is in a NS hanging cheek for flat work and a NS universal for jumping. It was suggested by a dressage judge recently that he has tendency towards being overbent and may be better in a loose ring snaffle. I agree that he can get overbent (although it has taken a year or so to get there from giraffe like
). He does like to slip his tongue over the bit and that is why I wondered about the sprenger turnado. So has anyone used this bit or any other suggestions. We are also going to put him in the snaffle for jumping as we don't need extra control anymore and always ride with the universal on the snaffle ring.
