Does the spring grass affect your horse/s? Ive just had a text from my horses loan owner who said she was completely bonkers tonight, plunging, bucking etc and this was after being hacked to the school AND being lunged....:(

Monty bucked me off yesterday. Never seen him buck before, in the field or loose in sand arena. Has been grumpy in the stable and on his toes/spooky out hacking - completely out of normal character. He and his field buddy, both of whom normally come when they're called, refused to be caught the other day. Other horse (the plod of the yard) went insane yesterday when turned out. I hate silly season spring fever!

Yep - my part loan Kelly who is just recovering from diagnosis of Cushings just has her strops and today tried to tank off across her own little paddock, shaking her head and fly bucking.
The other horse I ride has been on her toes, started to bronc with me the other day after a jump, and kept putting in little squealy bucks as though to say "I'm just SO excited!"
Hopefully, ours will start to chill out now as they're out

Try Magnitude by Equine America - its reasonable price wise about £15 for 3 months supply, its magnesium and supposed to balance the spring grass worked a treat with our wacky warm-blood saw a change in behavior in less than a week

Mine had gas colic really badly last week, and I had to get the vet out to give her a shot of buscopan. She's been trumpeting most of the week, but hasn't colicked again. I've put her on NAF Biotic. The vet said he's seeing 3 gas colics a day at the moment.
