I'm looking for a waterproof riding coat for the spring and wondered if anybody can recommend one please?

Ideally I prefer something hip length with zip openings for riding, rather than a blouson type jacket. I don't want any fill in it. Decent pockets for phone and keys. Don't mind paying for quality but nothing ridiculously expensive.

Any suggestions please?

Although it's mid-thigh length, so it doesn't quite fit your brief, I really rate my Aubrion Hackney waterproof jacket for warmer weather. It's kept me dry in some fairly heavy downpours and isn't too expensive (I'm wearing it in my avatar).

There are a few on kramers website but not sure how long delivery is after brexit. I’ve got a winter riding parka which I bought about 6 years ago and still wear it when it’s cold so would recommend

Thank you for these recommendations. I found a cheap Dublin coat in the sale so have ordered that and will see what it's like. It's so cheap that it could go either way so if it's no good I'll check these options out.

My fiance bought me a Weatherbeeta Kyla for Christmas as my old faithful yard coat had finally bitten the dust and its absolutely ideal! Love the slightly longer length but doesn't get in the way to ride in as it fans over the back of the saddle really nicely. I'll leave the link below - maybe shop around though as I know he paid much less for it than this. Photos on the wesbite also don't do it justice!
