Especially this one. He thinks he's a cat (check the pouncing motions) and he just pings from one end of the patio to the other, on his own, like some kind of lunatic, having stolen the toy from his poor bewildered brother.

He also thinks he's a labrador puppy sometimes:

Ah CT you are so right, they are def not 'normal' mine remind me of the song from Winnie the Pooh about tiggers, something like, 'the wonderful thing about tiggers, is tiggers are wonderful things, tops are made out of rubber, bottoms made out of springs, theyre bouncy bouncy etc, you get the idea. By the way, is that fence in any way designed to stop said springers excavating your lawn? we have decided on the same measure, we are just about to put trellis with a gate between decking and lawn, whilst there is still some grass left.

The fence was put up to keep Jake and brig off the lawn nearly 8years ago. It worked and the lawn was safe. However, Zak and Bear climb over and don't get the whole barrier idea. If they're in the garden too long, they're guaranteed to be on the lawn. As Zak leaps up the 6 ft fence between us and the neighbour, I'm not sure quite how to stop him going on the lawn ( and in the pond!)

I love that clip it made me LOL! :D Nope not normal...but none of any of mine if it helps, I could picture any of mine doing exactly the same (with the possible exception of Tilly) Flora and the Terrors regularly do random **** like this :D Thats why we love em, they make us smile :D :D :D

the clue is in the name .. springers spring!!!!!! how long did it take you to realise they are not normal? you ob have 2!! minimum. good luck, grow a thick skin and a sense of humour, forsake your lawn and work them hard. oh yes and enjoy their antics....... as best you can! Good luck.

It took me a while: I've had springers for 8 years but this puppy is the maddest (and funniest!) I have three-the one on the left in my signature is the 8 year old.
