"Springy" stirrups - suggestions please

I suffer with my knees if I ride in "normal" stirrups, so I have some with springy sides. I don't know what make they are, but they look like springs on the side.

I do find I lose my stirrups more than I used to, which I am assuming is due to the stirrups moving up and down in trot and canter.

Can anyone recommend any others that will ease my knees but not move too much?! I have tried reverting to "normal" stirrups, but the knees won't allow it!

Sprengers are absolutely fantastic, unfortunately v. expensive too

Love the Sprenger stirrups!

Love them so much, I even bought D1 a set of the Bow Balance ones (I think that's what they're called).

But yup, expensive

Metalab Air System stirrups are AMAZING! http://www.metalab.info/sitrrup-airsystem.htm with ordinary rubber grip treads or http://www.4dobbin.com/p-Air-Irons-John-Whitaker.html which have "cheese grater" treads which may help you if you lose your stirrups?
Cheaper then Sprengers, and better IMO. I call them my Nike Air stirrups!

I have the Sprenger bow balance ones and I love them. Don't think I could go back to normal stirrups.

Love my sprenger bow balance! I used to loose my stirrups if I didnt have cheesegrater treads - but I dont with the normal sprenger rubber.

But yes expensive - got mine off ebay from AnnaDressure (I think thats how its spelt!)

you can get cheaper flexible stirrups than sprengers
rhinegold do some for about £40
