Do they have to be under a certain length for unaffiliated dressage?

As i think mine are quite long because they are ones we picked up at a boot fair ages ago and because i've only used them at home so far (don't need them for jumping and never done dressage before

) i've never bought any others!

Will i need to buy some little ones?

47. Spurs
Must be worn as a pair (except when riding side saddle) from advanced level upwards and must
be made of metal. The band round the heel must be smooth and there must be a shank on the back of
the heel pointing towards the rear. There is no restriction on the type of shank and rowels are permitted
provided that they are fitted vertically and are free to rotate. Rowels which have points must have rounded
ends. Excessive use of spurs is forbidden. Spurs may not be worn upside down. Spurs that have a smooth
rotating rubber or plastic ball on the shank are permitted. Only blunt spurs without rowels may be worn
for Young Horse Classes.

Thats all i can find in BD rules?

Doesn't say anything about length?!

I've got some very long spurs that I use at my RC unaffiliated dressage without any problems. As long as they point down (ie not the swan neck ones) you should be fine.
