Spurs for dressage?

I was just wondering what spurs you all ride in?

For Grace I had to buy some tini little Mark Todd ones with rounded edges (the only ones that have not marked her) but when I went for a lesson on Han I borrowed my trainers spurs and they were longer but still rounded. Han seemed to respond so much better to these than my tiny baby ones, so I was wondering whether I should invest in some???

I don't have a horrendous lower leg, and try to keep the spur use to a minimum anyway... but they looked so long

and I was unsure whether there was a length limit in BD.

I will use smooth rowelled spurs for any pure dressage we do!, they are 30mm long, but have such a small surface area they really respond well to them! Not allowed them for BE, so use 30mm Mark Todd spurs or Impuls spurs depending how buzzed he is from working on grass!!

I use tiny baby spurs for Dexter for BD but cant use spurs on him for BE dressage as he is too lit up!

Spider gets schooled at home in small baby spurs or smooth longer ones, and for competing she has the same

I tend to not wear spurs on snoopy or winston at home, but do use spurs on winston when competing - long flat ones.
If i wear them on snoopy they are small - Halfstep once rode him with her disc spurs and she soon took them off lol

I use 40mm rounded end spurs with my boy as I have long legs and he's only 15.3hh. The little dinky ones I had before didn't reach even touch him.

I ride in my fairly long smooth roweled spurs; they seem to work for most horses, except Snoopy who took an instant dislike to them and tried to dump me! Although I've started using long flat ended ones on an advanced horse I've been riding recently as I find I get a sharper response to them. The rowels move over the horses body and are quite gentle. But sometimes it is necessary to have a good poke LOL!

I use those exact ones for schooling at home! They are nice and rounded and the the shaped bit for your straps is really good
