Can you use spurs with a smooth rowel for BSJA?
I don't like normal POW spurs as they dig in!

the BSJA rules state only that
"spurs of excessively severe design may not be worn, ie. spurs with necks in excess of 3cms long, spurs with necks set on the inside of the heel, spurs with rowel diameters in excess of 1cm and spurs with roughened or cutting edges and serrated spurs with or without necks."

yup sounds fine to me!!
just as long as the rowel is smaller than 1cm in diameter you'll be fine
