How do you fit yours??? I keep seeing pictures, (not just on hho) of spurs in the most god awful postions IMO.

Watched a very good video of Laura Bs rider once and he told you how to position spurs correctly 
My right foot points out though (bad conformation) have always thought an offset spur would be a good design

i make sure that mine sit of the spur rests on my boots
otherwise what's the point in wearing them?

Don't wear them but in the past when I have worn for another horse I used to ride just during dressage, I've fitted them in the middle of my heal but I must admit they did slip down a bit near the ankle but my boots don't have the rest, I only had them on as back up and didn't feel comfortable having them as high up as probably they should of been, specially if the horse is sporting a bit of a grass belly! but I'm not an expert spur wearer so I'd be interested in seeing the replies.
