Spyder's First Foal!!!!

So pleased to be able to announce the very first foal by Spyder (Cressingham National Silver ID); a leggy grey filly already named Guzzler (I won't ask the reason for that!) born early this morning. Both mare and foal are fine. Mare is Freda, (What A Freak) a 3*** International mare by The Freak (TB) out of Clontybunia Lass ,ISH x Touchstone ISH.

congratulations sarah and simon, and of course pyder man!!she looks a cracker. how exciting to run on a stallion and then see his first foal arrive into the world, fantastic xx
 
Well can things get much better for you both? Spyder getting on the Weatherbys non TB register and his first and cracking foal safely arriving and a filly at that , well done Simsar really happy for you that finally all your hard work has paid off.

I haven't stopped crying I'm soooooooooo proud of Spyder and of course Freda, thank you for all of your comments, we will update in a bit as have to sleep for a bit.

Thank you MFH for the post the mare is Not a Freak and foaly is named Guzzle as she drinks for Ireland, should have called her Stout! But thanks again for the post :) kind of you to mention us. xxxxxxxxx

Stunning foal :)

Sorry off subject but checked out the Simsar Stud and noticed you've a mare by Celtic Swing. He was the stallion of the year when I rode work for a National Hunt trainer a zillion years ago. He was my fav TB (and I'm not a TB person at all). Had the massive priviledge of getting to play with him up close at the Irish National Stud. Just wondered if you'd a photo of the mare.

A massive thank you to M&HW (Bumble 1) too, without them we wouldn't have had this fantastic mare, it was lovely to see you yesterday and thank you for the photo's which we will put up for all to see.

what a cutie :) congrats!
Iv ordered a grey filly so I might show my mare these photos so she can focus on the job in hand.
(ordered a coloured colt last year and got a verrrrryyyy bay colt, but it was her first foal so we'l put that little mishap down to inexperience ;))
